UTAH COUNTY -- Timpanogos Cave National Monument and the trail leading to it reopened Wednesday. The National Park Service had closed them while teams investigated the death of a park service employee May 20.

Rex Walker, a maintenance worker in the park, died after falling several hundred feet down a steep slope near the cave exit. He was riding a two-wheeled park motorized trail bike when the incident occurred.

The park service says it's too early in the investigation to say what caused the mishap.
