OREM, Utah (AP) -- Utah Valley University's ballroom dance troupe has advanced to the finals of the first college championship on the TV show "Dancing with the Stars."
The UVU team scored 29 out of a possible 30 points in the first round. UVU faces a squad from Purdue University in the season finale Tuesday.
The UVU Ballroom Dance Company is one of four teams chosen by ABC to compete in a college competition.
The National Dance Council of America ranks the UVU ballroom dancers as the No. 2 formation team nationally.
