SANDY, Utah (AP) -- Two men have been arrested on suspicion of abuse of a corpse after putting a friend's body in a vehicle and parking it in Sandy.
Police Sergeant Bill O'Neal says an officer investigating an abandoned vehicle discovered the body of 46-year-old Phillip Alan Northcutt.
O'Neal says an investigation revealed a friend of Northcutt found him dead in his basement. He says the friend panicked and called another man and asked him to help dispose of the body.
O'Neal says the cause of death is unknown, although a drug overdose is possible.
The body has been taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
