SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Weber State University students can expect a 6 percent tuition hike next year.
The Board of Trustees approved the increase Tuesday, as well as a 3 percent fee hike for the 2010-11 school year.
President Ann Miller says lawmakers cut $9.3 million from the university budget, less than last year's $12 million.
Miller says the added revenue from the increase will allow the university to offer more classes and student services.
The tuition increase would cost a full-time student about $120 more a semester.
