OREM — A vehicle fire closed the 800 North northbound I-15 off-ramp in Orem Tuesday morning, but the road has since reopened, officials said.

The fire is out and did not seriously impact traffic, but the off-ramp remained closed from about 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., the Utah Department of Transportation said in a tweet.

The KSL Traffic Center encouraged commuters to take the Orem Center Street exit or the 1600 North exit in Lindon to bypass the closure.

The cause of the fire has not yet been released. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
