KEARNS — Police say an argument between two coworkers at a job site in Kearns ended with one man getting shot in the ankle Saturday morning.

A man got into an argument with a coworker Saturday morning at a job site located at 4820 S. 5100 West. At some point the coworker shot him in the ankle, according to Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in fair condition.

Police have not located the coworker who they say shot the man, Lohrke said. He is described as a Hispanic male with a mustache and stocky build who is 5 feet 5 inches tall.
