TV LAND — No June gloom here! Traditional TV schedules have gone out the window in recent years, with plenty of great shows airing year round.
Beat the heat this month with these excellent binge-watching options, coming to streaming services and a TV network near you.
"Agents of SHIELD" Season 5
Netflix, June 17
At this point, you’re either a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe-adjacent show, or you’re not.
But if you have held on this long, you know the uneven show has been on the rise again, and a hearty fangirl/boy binge of the latest season of the secret-agents-plus-aliens show is a must.
"Champions" Season 1
Available now on Hulu or NBC.com
The latest show from writer and actress Mindy Kaling has been a hit with audiences and critics alike, and you can watch the whole first season, which ended in May.
Revolving around a man who finds out he has had a child for 15 years, the show is full of laughs.
"Cloak and Dagger" Season 1
Freeform, June 7
Another offering from the good folks at Marvel, this network show hits a sweet spot between "Defenders" and "Agents of SHIELD."
It’s a little darker, but not too violent, and full of romance. In fact, the story revolves around teens who get powers at the same time they’re falling in love and then discover that their powers work better together. Swoon.
