THE SLOPES — This is George. Maybe you've seen George before as he rides a skateboard like a boss.
George is a bulldog with mad skills that I'm insanely jealous of. I've seen some of his skateboarding videos before, but now this canine can snowboard and I now know this dog is more athletic than I could ever dream to be.
George's owner wanted to see if the pup's skateboarding skills could translate to the slopes, so he rigged up this skateboard and let the dog go.
"George surprised us when took off down the hill on his snowskate, racing other sledders to the bottom," George's owner wrote on YouTube. "He immediately grabbed his board and tried to drag it up the hill so he could do it again!"
Yesterday's Have You Seen This?
A few weeks ago, I went sledding with my kids on what is likely the weakest sledding hill ever. I tried going down this hill, which is more like a bump, with the sled on my feet. I made it about 12 feet, then fell and managed to sprain my MCL to the point of lying face down in the snow rolling around in pain for about 5 minutes. Not my proudest moment. But what it proves, unfortunately, is that George has more athleticism in his neck folds than I do in my entire body.
Take a page from the book of George and have some fun in the snow this weekend. Hopefully, you're more successful than I was.
