SARATOGA SPRINGS — One juvenile and one adult are in serious condition after a car crash that closed Pony Express Parkway Tuesday afternoon.

City of Saratoga Springs public relations manager Owen Jackson said early Tuesday afternoon, a full-sized pickup truck and a compact car were involved in a crash near 500 Pony Express Parkway. Jackson said a male juvenile was taken via helicopter to Primary Children’s Hospital in serious condition and a man in his 50's was transported via ambulance to a local hospital in serious condition.

Pony Express Parkway was temporarily closed at 500 West. Jackson said authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
