WEST VALLEY — Officials are asking for the public's help in identifying a car police believe is related to a fatal shooting.
Neko Jardine, 19, was killed Sunday in a shooting that left two others injured, police said. Police continued to search for the gunman Monday.
Photos of the car were released by West Valley police Tuesday and show images of a red or maroon Nissan Altima or Maxima, according to officials. Sunday, police were searching for a white Ford Mustang and red or maroon Nissan Altima in relation to the shooting.
Both vehicles sped off after the shooting, police said.
The black and white photo of the car shows the same car that's pictured in the other photos, but it was changed to black and white to enhance detail, according to Roxeanne Vainuku, spokesperson with West Valley Police Department.
No other injuries were reported in the shooting, but some cars parked on the street received damage from gunshots.
Anyone with information about the shooting or the vehicle is encouraged to call West Valley police at 801-840-4000.
