SALT LAKE CITY — State Department of Wildlife Resources officials are investigating two separate poaching cases in Uintah and Iron counties.
The Uintah County case took place in early February east of Jensen, according to a news release from DWR. Two male pronghorn had been shot and killed, and a female pronghorn was wounded, officials said.
The female was later euthanized, DWR officials said. They believe the shooting occurred between Feb. 6 and 9.
