PARK CITY — A broken water main has forced the closure of a road in the upper Deer Valley area of Park City.
Municipal public information officer Phyllis Robinson said that the main under Marsac Avenue broke around noon Sunday, causing water, rocks and dirt to flow down the road.
Several lodges in the area have been affected by ongoing repairs, including Black Bear Lodge and Stein Eriksen Lodge.
Robinson called the break "fairly significant" but could not specify how people were affected or when water would again be flowing to all residents and visitors. She thanked folks for their patience regarding the break.
"We're working as quickly as we can to get the water line break and water restored," Robinson said.
More information will be posted when it becomes available.
