OGDEN — A Weber County sheriff’s corporal was arrested Friday on suspicion of DUI and interfering with arrest, according to the sheriff’s office.

Weber County Cpl. Kevin Morris with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division was booked into Box Elder County Jail.

Weber County sheriff's deputies responded to a reckless driving report and discovered the person being reported was Morris, who was off-duty. Further details about the incident weren't available.

Utah Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Morris is on paid administrative leave and the sheriff’s office is conducting its internal investigation.
