OGDEN — Police and firefighters in Ogden responded to a plane crash at the Ogden-Hinckley Airport Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred at around 12:59 p.m., according to Ogden police.

Upon their arrival, police and Ogden Fire Department firefighters found that a single-engine crop duster aircraft had crashed on Runway 3.

The pilot, the sole occupant, was not seriously injured in the crash, according to the press release.

The pilot was taken to a local hospital as a precaution after the crash.

Airport activity was temporarily affected as fire crews secured the scene due to a potential fuel spill, police said.

The Federal Aviation Administration will conduct further investigation. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
