KEARNS — Police are looking for the person they say shot a 29-year-old man Saturday morning, leaving him critically injured.

The shooting was the result of a roommate argument at 5363 W. 5150 South in Kearns, according to a Unified Police Department tweet. The man injured was shot twice, police say.

Few details about the shooting were immediately available, but said they are searching for the suspected shooter.

At one point, investigators were looking for a convertible 2004 Chrysler Sebring, which they believe aided in the shooter's escape. That vehicle was found later Saturday morning at 5332 W. Crockett Drive, police tweeted, but the person they're looking for was not there.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 801-743-7000.
