LEHI — A trench estimated to be hundreds of feet long opened up in a new subdivision's road Friday.
The crack in the road occurred because someone left a pressurized irrigation system on, according to construction workers. It is located at 500 W. SR-92; no one lives in the new Canyon Hills development yet.
Construction crews are working to control and repair the damage, according to EDGEhomes engineers. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
