(KSL/AP) Lights, camera, action! A new BYU television station is now on the airwaves.
Last Friday, BYU Broadcasting launched the TV station which provides viewers with multi-lingual programming.
The programming service called BYU Television International will broadcast in Spanish, Portuguese and English. It will carry educational, religious, cultural and sports content.
Officials decided to launch the programming in response to an increasing demand for translated content from Brigham Young University and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
BYU Television International is available to cable and satellite providers throughout the Western Hemisphere, specifically in Central South America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. It will be available in the U.S.
