BYU going pink to support Coaches vs. Cancer

PROVO, Utah (AP) -- No. 12 BYU will be wearing pink in support of Coaches vs. Cancer when the Cougars host rival Utah on Saturday.

The Cougars' white and blue home uniforms will also include pink trim and the players will wear pink basketball shoes. The coaches will also leave their dress shoes in the locker room and wear sneakers. BYU coach Dave Rose is a cancer survivor.

The Cougars are taking part in the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Awareness Weekend. The event is a collaboration of the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
