SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Bob Bennett plans on hosting a series of fireside chats as his re-election campaign gears up for the Utah GOP convention.
Bennett is seeking a fourth term, but is facing several challengers from within his own party.
The fireside chats are intended to help recruit delegates to vote for him in the May convention. Delegates to the convention will be chosen in March.
The first fireside chat will occur Tuesday at a Provo hotel, with similar events to follow in Layton on Wednesday and Logan on Thursday.
