(KSL News) Ogden police have formed a task force to look into a string of robberies at downtown businesses.
In the past month, eight "mom and pop"-type businesses have been robbed at gunpoint. In many of the cases the robber got away with little or nothing.
Police believe the businesses were targeted because they have little security or surveillance.
No suspects have been identified in any of the robberies.
