PROVO -- After an easy win against Wagner Thursday night, the BYU men's basketball team is looking to keep its four-game win streak alive Saturday against Eastern Washington.

The Cougars will be looking for a more dominant performance after playing a little sluggish at times in Thursday night's win.

BYU Head Coach Dave Rose said Eastern Washington will be a different type of team than what the Cougars saw Thursday night.

"They're a lot bigger team than Wagner," Rose told KSL Newsradio Thursday after the game against Wagner. "They've got post guys that are really physical, rugged guys, so that will be a challenge for us scoring, especially around the basket."

The Eagles bring a balanced scoring attack, with three players averaging double figures in scoring in guard Glen Dean (10.1 ppg.), and big men Mark Dunn (13.3) and Brandon Moore (12.4 ppg.). Freshman guard Jeffrey Forbes averages nine points per game as well. The Eagles gave Nevada a tough contest Thursday evening, falling to the Wolfpack 73-70 on a Nevada shot in the closing seconds of the game.

BYU leads the all-time series against the Eagles 2-0, and last defeated Eastern Washington 97-66 in 2005. At that time BYU was led by the likes of Keena Young, Trent Plaisted and Fernando Malaman, while Eastern Washington was led by NBA guard Rodney Stuckey.

Saturday's game is at the Marriott Center (7:00 tip), where the Cougars boast a 67-3 record since Rose took the reigns at BYU. The game is the second of possibly four games for the Cougars in the HoopTV Las Vegas Classic.

After Saturday's game, the Cougars hit the road for Las Vegas, where they will face Nevada Tuesday. If the Cougars defeat Nevada they will play the winner of Nebraska and Tulsa Wednesday night.
