SALT LAKE CITY -- Police caught up to a man accused of taking part in a beating in South Salt Lake last summer.
The Joint Criminal Apprehension Team learned Thursday night that Hector Godoy was in the area of 500 South and West Temple. Officers staked out the area, spotted him driving, pulled him over and took him into custody.
Godoy and his brother were charged with aggravated assault in August after a fight escalated at the Mi Ranchito restaurant at 2747 S. State Street.
Warrants were issued for their arrests. Godoy was also wanted for a parole violation.
Police are still looking for his brother.
