SANDY -- A 12-year-old girl was slightly injured Thursday morning when she was hit by a school bus.
The girl was walking to Mount Jordan Middle School near 9300 South and 300 East in Sandy when the bus struck her, running over her foot and hurting her leg. She was taken to Primary Children's Medical Center for treatment.
The police investigation is still ongoing, but officers said low-light conditions likely played a role.
