WEST JORDAN -- A 6-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was hit by a car during a sledding trip.
It happened around 2 p.m. Monday at a park near 8200 South and 6700 West. Police say the boy walked between two cars and into traffic.
Police say the driver was not speeding but could not stop the car in time and struck the boy. He was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center where he's listed in critical but stable condition.
