Earlier this month, attorneys Gary Bendinger and Christopher Sullivan, scored a victory in federal district court in Salt Lake City by securing the dismissal of a federal securities fraud class action lawsuit against a large auditing firm. Bendinger and Sullivan are part of Howrey LLP, the premiere international litigation law firm in Salt Lake City.
The case is notable because, in this jurisdiction of federal securities law, there is little legal precedent regarding federal securities fraud claims against accounting firms that audit publicly traded companies.
Howrey's Salt Lake City office, Managed by attorney Richard Casey, has developed a nationally-recognized expertise in defending federal securities and regulatory law claims.
