SALT LAKE COUNTY -- The Salt Lake Valley Health Department Tuesday began making appointments for 7,200 H1N1 vaccinations, just like they have for the previous four weeks. However, unlike previous weeks, the demand for the vaccine has slowed some.

Health officials want the public to know that there is still an adequate supply of vaccine for appointments this week and next, and that they are still taking appointments online and by phone.
"If someone was unable to get an appointment before this, they really should try going online or calling our appointment center today," said Kate Lilja, Call Center Manager. "We will keep the appointment center open until all the appointments are scheduled."
Those wishing to set an appointment for Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of this week or next week can go online at www.SLVHealth.org or call (801) 743-7280.
