Tubing park opens for winter season

PARK CITY (AP) -- Gorgoza Park will open its tubing lanes early for the 2009-2010 winter season.

The park will open Friday.

The park will operate seven tubing lanes and three rope tows from noon to 8 p.m. Regular tubing rates will apply for the early opening. A two-hour ticket for ages seven and older is $20. A two-hour ticket for ages three to six is $10.

The park will close for the week Monday to finish snowmaking and will reopen on Dec. 5 and close in April.
