OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- An annual golf tournament at Wolf Creek Resort has raised $18,000 for local charities. The tournament donated $9,000 each to the Wolf Creek Foundation and the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home.

The federal government matched $2 for every $1 donated to the veterans home.

Sue Munson, Wolf Creek Foundation spokeswoman, says the foundation works with its established partners to help the community.

The tournament's organizers say the foundation's portion of the money will be passed along to the Ogden Rescue Mission.
