SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Some 200 needy Utah families will be getting a Thanksgiving turkey thanks to a donation program through a locally owned grocery store chain.
Fresh Market, which has 34 Utah stores, is partnering with the Salt Lake City Mission to make the turkeys available to local families. Distribution of the birds and other holiday food items can be picked up between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the Eagle Ranch Distribution Center in west Salt Lake City.
The Honeysuckle White-brand turkey donation is part of the 14th annual More to Share program of the Minnesota-based international food producer and marketer Cargill.
