SALT LAKE CITY --A 16-year-old boy shot himself twice in the leg Tuesday afternoon at a Salt Lake City apartment complex.
When police arrived around 1:15 p.m. at the Rain Tree Apartments at 836 W. 835 North, they were initially told a vehicle fled the scene carring possible suspects.
After further investigation and a look at the wounds, police determined the teen had shot himself while inside the apartment.
The teenager is expected to be OK.
