SALT LAKE CITY -- A new poll finds many Utahns still don't know how they feel about Gov. Gary Herbert's performance in office.
The Salt Lake Tribune poll found 23 percent of those surveyed -- nearly a quarter -- were undecided about his job performance.
On the streets of Salt Lake City, the people KSL spoke to Tuesday morning seemed to back up the numbers.
"I don't know who he is," one man said.
"I mean, I haven't got much of an opinion either way," Joel Shepherd said. "He hasn't done anything wrong, but he hasn't done anything outstanding."
Others have a positive view of Herbert's work so far.
"He's done a pretty good job," Tom Straup said.
Fifty percent of people in the Tribune poll said Herbert was doing either a "good" or "excellent" job; 83 percent said they felt that way about former Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. in January.
