WEST JORDAN -- The public has helped capture one of Utah's most wanted.

Cottonwood Heights police and the FBI believe Alejandro Torres -- also known as "Casper" -- was one of two armed men who robbed a Mountain America Credit Union in September.

Officers were able to find his partner, Jose Miguel Alamarez, a short time later. After a news tip, they tracked down Torres at a West Jordan apartment complex Tuesday.

Both men face federal robbery charges. On Friday, a judge set Torres' trial for Dec. 21.
