SALT LAKE CITY -- The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office is now looking at possible charges stemming from a fight involving an off-duty Sheriff's deputy.
At issue is whether or not Deputy Rudy Chacon was within the law when he shot and wounded John Pikula during a fight at the Green Street Social Club in September.
Lawyers for Pikula say their client was not acting threatening to Chacon at the time of the shooting and that Chacon had been drinking prior to the incident.
