SALT LAKE CITY -- The owners of a company featured in a KSL 5 News Investigation have been arrested.
Six months ago KSL 5 News exposed the Florida-based locksmith company called Dependable Locks, which appeared to be taking advantage of Utah customers.
Our hidden camera investigation showed how Dependable Locks quoted one price on the phone then doubled, even tripled that amount on site.
This week, the federal government raided the Florida headquarters of Dependable Locks and arrested the owners.
Court records accuse the company of instructing employees how to overcharge and deceive customers.
