Sandra Yi reporting Funeral services were held today for the Osmond family matriarch, Olive Osmond.
She died last Sunday of complications from a stroke she suffered two and a half years ago.
All nine of Olive Osmond's children shared fond memories of their mother. They also paid tribute to her with a song during the church service.
Though Osmond lived much of her life with her family in the spotlight, they say she will be best known as a wife, mother and humanitarian.
Marie Osmond: "My mother? Great mother. Perfect mother."
And for Olive Osmond, the role was no small feat. She raised nine children in the showbiz spotlight.
To them, it was no coincidence she died on Mother's Day.
Marie Osmond/ Olive's Daughter: "Our mother was a remarkable woman and it only seems fitting that our sweet mother should pass away on Mother's Day, as she believed deeply the greatest and most noble calling of all is that of being a mother."
During the funeral service, her children recalled her love for her family, and her faith.
Alan Osmond said his mother not only gave him life, but showed him how to live it. They say, that is her legacy.
Phyllis Lloyd/ Merrill Osmond's Sister-In-Law: "I'm sure with the legacy she's got in children and grandchildren, she should be a very proud lady. She's done of great job of raising her family."
Gayle Gardner/ Family Friend: "I just think she's been a great example, especially being in the spotlight with the family that she has, for everybody to just stay together through everything that comes along with life, hard and good."
At the gravesite, George Osmond took a moment to show his appreciation to everyone. Then all their grandchildren and great grandchildren released balloons into the sky, each one filled with a personal message of love.
Singing: "I want to share my life with them through all eternity..."
Olive Osmond was founder of The Osmond Foundation, also known as The Children's Miracle Network, which helps more than 17 million children each year.
