(KSL News) Alcohol leads to an accident in Salt Lake City.
Police say a car hit a tree on 21st South early this morning. It bounced off that tree and then slammed into a nearby pole, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
Emergency crews put the blaze out quickly and then cut the driver out of the vehicle.
The man is in critical condition at an area hospital. Police say he will likely be charged with driving under the influence.
