(KSL News) An argument escalates into a stabbing in West Jordan.

Police were called to 7000 S. Redwood Road just before three this morning.

Two men who had apparently been drinking got into an argument inside an apartment complex. That fight spilled into the streets.

A 24-year-old man allegedly pulled a knife on a 32-year-old.

At first police heard the man had been stabbed in the chest so a helicopter was called out. Ends up the man only has a superficial wound to his collar bone and will be fine.

The suspect was arrested and faces aggravated assault charges.
