HIGHLAND -- Four Utah County men are facing serious charges in a sexual assault case. Investigators say the men abused two acquaintances during a late-night drive.

The four men were driving around Tuesday night when one of them saw a girl he knew with her friend. The girls got in the car and were taken to a spot on Highland Boulevard where the alleged assault happened.

"The individuals had forcibly removed some of the clothing and were fondling and touching them," said Lone Peak police Lt. Brian Gwilliam

Police said the girls tried to keep the men from taking off their clothes.

"They continually pleaded with the subjects to be let out of the vehicle, be let go--which they subsequently were, but not for a period of time," Gwillam said.

Police were contacted early Wednesday morning when the women were released and told their family what had happened.

The women's ages have not been released, but police did say that one is an adult and the other is underage.

Twenty-year-old Jace Blickenstaff and 18-year-old Kyle Anderson from Lindon, along with 18-year-old Jared Holland and 18-year-old Shawn Havili from Pleasant Grove, have been charged with two counts of kidnapping, unlawful detention and forcible sexual abuse.

All four men remain in the Utah County jail and will face a judge Thursday morning, who will then set their bail.
