COACH RON McBRIDE QUOTES

ON EASTERN WASHINGTON: "They have a solid quarterback in Nichols. Not only does he have an accurate arm but he's threat to run as well and is a very good runner. Taiwan Jones is the fastest back we have faced to date. He has top end speed when he hits the hole which makes him a breakaway threat every time he gets the ball. Defensively they fly to the ball and their linemen and linebackers have great reaction time in finding the ball. They are playing with a great deal of confidence right now and really don't look worried about whether or not they get to have a chance at post-season play. This is a very good football team."

ON THE WILDCATS: "We need to re-group, re-focus and regain our confidence back. Obviously last week's game hurt and puts us in position where we can ill afford another loss. But this team has shown the ability to bounce back after adversity, and we have some good seniors who I expect will step up and keep this group positive this week, as will our coaching staff."
