(KSL News) -- A man was hit by a car tonight in West Valley at 3900 W. 4100 South.
Authorities say the man's daughter had been involved in an earlier car crash, and had called him for help.
He parked his car and tried to run across the street to his daughter's car, when he ran into the side of a moving car.
Emergency crews airlifted the man to the University Medical Center; he's expected to be okay.
