SALT LAKE CITY -- An invitation to a party ended with a man's wallet being stolen.
Salt Lake police received a call for help from a 37-year-old man Thursday night. He claimed his wallet had been stolen and his life threatened by people who had invited him to a party earlier in the evening.
When officers arrived at the Maverick gas station near 300 South and 500 East where the man was waiting, they also found one of the people who was allegedly threatening him.
That person was taken into custody. Two other people are being interviewed about their involvement.
