(KSL News) A man suspected of promoting raves was the target of a drug bust this morning. The Salt Lake County Sheriffs Department seized mushrooms, marijuana and ecstasy pills from a home in White City.
Officers also found promotional materials for a number of raves.
Sgt. Kevin Matthews, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office: "He has promoted several types of raves and what will happen is they put on these parties and the promoters will come out and distribute their drugs at these parties."
Officers say this is the first time they've had a
full-time presence in White City. That, combined with tips from concerned citizens, helped them make the bust.
They booked Joshua Craig into jail on several drug possession charges.
