SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Salt Lake County is getting a top-notch credit rating.
The county has received a Triple A rating from three major bond agencies.
County auditor Jeff Hatch says Salt Lake is one of just three counties nationwide to receive the rating from all three agencies. The rating means the county is viewed as a safe borrower.
County mayor Peter Corroon says the Triple A bond rating lowers the costs for infrastructure and saves taxpayer money.
