AMERICAN FORK, Utah (AP) -- The National Park Service is considering changes to how Timpanogos Cave National Monument operates.
The agency is getting ready to write a new management plan for the monument. Some of the areas that might be examined are visitor safety, the size of tours for the caves and research that needs to be done at the monument.
Park officials are taking public comments until Sept. 28 about what topics should be included in the new management plan.
An open house is also scheduled for Sept. 9 at the monument's visitor center.
