HURRICANE, Utah (AP) -- The spotlight is on two Washington County sheriff's deputies who are assigned to the cases of polygamist leader Warren Jeffs and the Fundamentalist LDS Church.
That's because Sergeant Shauna Jones and Deputy Matt Fisher are being honored for their outstanding service.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office honored Jones with the sheriff's 2006 Patrol Supervisor of the Year. She helped bring the case against Jeffs to prosecutors.
Meanwhile, Fisher was recognized as Patrol Deputy of the Year. He's been assigned to patrol the polygamous border community of Hildale.
