(KSL News) A group of elementary school students decided to spread some Christmas cheer to some of the littlest victims of the war in Iraq.
Students at Heritage Elementary school wrote Christmas cards to students at Hill Field Elementary and their families. Most of the students at Hill Field have a family member serving in Iraq who won't be home for Christmas.
Mary Anne Hansen, Heritage Elementary: "We wanted to thank them for giving up family and friends and things like that to protect and keep us safe."
Heritage students delivered the cards during a Christmas sing-along at Hill Field Elementary.
