TAYLORSVILLE -- Police arrested two thieves who boldly stole a 40-inch flat screen TV from an RC Willey in broad daylight.
After the theft was made public, police received several calls which led to the arrests of 31-year-old Victor-Manuel Perez Delgado and 26-year-old Kristopher Petro and the recovery of the TV.
On June 11, police say Delgado and Petro walked into the RC Willey at 3915 W. 4700 South, unplugged the TV, removed it from a display and walked out of the store in broad daylight.
Delgado was identified by tipsters as the one who physically removed the TV.
He confessed to the crime and is being held at the Salt Lake County Jail on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold.
Petro is being held in the Utah County Jail.
Felony theft charges will be screened against both men with the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office.
