SALT LAKE CITY -- Did Carlos Boozer really say "we" are "all" going through a tough time financially? Some certainly are, but Boozer? Didn't he just opt back in for nearly $13 million? Well, that's what he told a Miami radio station Monday.

"As fortunate as we are to have the jobs that we do, it's still tough when you get hit by the taxes we get hit by. We're all going through a tough time right now financially, but at the same time to live in a place where you don't have to pay state tax, you can leave a little bit more of the money that you earn in your bank account," Boozer told Miami's 560 WQAM.

Miami is a city Boozer says he'd like to end up in. Florida has no state tax, and the Heat are among the teams reportedly interested in trading for Boozer, but he knows it's up to the Jazz.

"It's their call. They're in control of that situation. They'll handle it the best way that they can," Boozer said. "We'll see what happens, but I'm staying out of it, and my agent's staying out of it, for the most part, counting on Kevin O'Connor and the Utah Jazz to take care of the situation."

But when pressed, Boozer couldn't hold back. He had to say he won't be here for training camp.

When the radio host said, "I'm guessing that you believe that by the time the season starts, you'll be moved. You don't think you'll be with the team?"

"Ah, no," Boozer replied.

We'll just have to wait and see if Boozer really is still around once training camp starts for the Jazz.
