SALT LAKE CITY — One person was killed in a collision between a car and a train in Salt Lake City, police said.
The crash happened near 1887 S. 700 West just before 2 a.m. When the car and the train collided, the car caught fire, Salt Lake police said.
The driver, the only occupant in the car, died at the scene, police said.
Further information on the crash, including the identity of the person who died, was not immediately available.
