(KSL News) An officer watching for carpool violators ended up finding a stolen car.
The officer was running registrations of cars as they passed by and discovered one car that had been stolen.
He followed the car until it pulled into a driveway, calling for other units in case the passengers were armed.
Then he boxed the car in to avoid any danger of pursuit.
The woman driving the car admitted to stealing it. She was taken into custody for theft.
